The three basic levels of management are top, middle, and first-line management.

The fairly small number of executives who guide the fortunes of most companies are (21) managers. Educational Background of Successful Managers

Psychologist Douglas Bray and Ann Howard have for more than 25 years been studying college graduates in entry-level management rank for AT&T. Here are some of their findings.
