上机实践3 MySql表结构的管理 实验目的: 1、掌握MySQL中使用MySQL语句创建和操作表的方法 2、掌握使用MySQL语句修改表结构的方法 3、掌握索引的创建 实验内容: 1、使用 CREATE TABLE命令在 course数据库中创建数据表 2、使用 ALTER TABLE修改表结构 3、使用 CREATE和 ALTER TABLE命令创建索引 实验步骤: 1、创建数据表(所有表结构参见文档——数据库Course实验用表) (1)创建 Department和 Student表,SQL命令如下: create table Department(d_no char(8)primary key, d_name char(12)not null )engine=InnoDB default charset=gbk; create table Student(S_no char(12) primary key, S_name char(4)not null, gender char(1) not null, phone text not null, birthday date, address char(20) )engine=InnoDB default charset=gbk; (2)仿照上述命令创建表 Teacher(t_no, t_name,d_no) (3)仿照上述命令创建表 Course(C_no,C_name, hours, credit, type) (4)仿照上述命令创建表 choose (id,s_no,c_no, score) 2、修改表结构 (1)使用 alter table命令向 Course表中添加两个字段term(开课学期)和 description(课程描述) (2)删除 Course表中新増的term字段 (3)使用 alter table命令为 course中的数据表添加外键约東条件 3、创建索引 在表中添加需要的索引。 注:用记事本编写创建数据库和数椐表的命令,保存为脚本文件 course.sql,然后将其导入到 phpmyadmin中。作业提交 course.sql文件。 注:将主要操作步骤及结果以图片、文字的方式填写在题目后,用“班级-姓名-上机3结果.doc”提交作业。
Section A
(89) I was hesitant to write this article the way I have because I know some people may misinterpret my intentions, so I will clarify them before we begin so there is no misunderstanding. (90) My reason for writing about parts of my professional journey is not to impress you, but to impress upon you how possible it is for us to create "amazing" if we consider, apply, and embrace Certain principles.
I don't think I'm amazing and I don't consider myself to be particularly gifted, but I do know that if I'm prepared to deal with some regular discomfort (hurdles, speed humps, setbacks, problems, challenges, and failures), then I drastically increase my chances of succeeding. (91) The more prepared I am to make mistakes, fall over and fail, the more likely I am to create long term success if I learn from my mistakes and adapt, grow, and change.
Failure is merely a label people give certain events. I personally don't use the term, but I will for the purpose of this conversation.
When I set up my first commercial business I was 26 years old. I had no real idea what I was doing. I thought I did but looking back, I didn't. I knew I wanted to set up a commercial Personal Training centre. (92) There were none in Australia, so I had no blueprint to follow, no mentors to rely on, and a whole bunch of people who informed me that the concept wouldn't work in this country.
In my mind I had a picture of what I wanted to create (the end result). It was just all the in-between steps that I was a little grey on--a lot grey on.
(93) I had no idea about commercial leasing (租赁) or how to communicate or negotiate with real estate people. I had no experience running a business or employing or managing staff. I had limited leadership experience. I had no experience dealing or negotiating with equipment suppliers. I had no idea about business plans. I had no marketing skills and no idea what "branding" was.

HELPING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MAKE FRIENDS
One study in the United States found that thirty- eight percent of foreign students said they had no close American friends.
Elisabeth Gare is teaches in the Department of Comunication Studies at Baruch College in NewYork. She says efforts on how to improve relationships between foreign and American students have yet to be studied in detail. But she says these efforts should begin with the college or university, and that these institutions have been working harder.
Ms.Gare is suggests that students should be encouraged to take part in different activities, such as taking walks, going on bike rides, field or camping trips, and attending parties, sporting events or film festivals. She says such activities should be held repeatedly through out the school term to bring students together. She al so suggests that foreign students share housing with American students.
She says if the new students make friends as they begin school, they will come to feel part of the life and traditions of the university, as well as create long lasting friendships throughout their university career.(判断)

Passage Three
Be careful of those who use the truth to deceive (欺骗). When someone tells you something that is true, but leaves out important information that should be included, he can create a false impression. For example, someone might say, "I just won a hundred dollars on the lottery (抽彩给奖法). It was great. I took that dollar ticket back to the store and turned it in for one hundred dollars!" This guy's a winner, right? Maybe, maybe not. We then discover that he bought two hundred tickets, and only one was a winner. He's really a big loser! He didn't say anything that was false, but he omitted important information on purpose. That's called a half-truth. Half-truths are not technically lies, but they are just as dishonest.
Dishonest politicians often use this method. Let's say that during Governor Smith's last term, her state lost one million jobs and gained three million jobs. Then she seeks another term. One of the politicians opposing her runs an ad saying, "During Governor Smith's term, the state lost one million jobs!" That's true. However an honest statement would have been, "During Governor Smith's term, the state had a net gain of two million jobs."
Advertisers will sometimes use half-truths. It's against the law to make false claims, so they try to mislead you with the truth. An ad might claim, "Nine out of ten doctors recommend Yucky Pills to cure nose pimples (丘疹)." It fails to mention that they only asked ten doctors and nine of them work for the Yucky Company.
This kind of deception happens too often. It's a sad fact of life. Lies are lies, and sometimes the truth can lie as well.
What does the writer want to tell us with the example of the lottery winner?
A.People lose a lot of money in buying lottery tickets.
B.Lottery makes its buyers dishonest.
C.He was lucky to win the lottery.
D.He did not tell the whole truth.
