根据以下内容,回答题。

Passage Two

Hair loss is one of those things we still do not understand. Science has, of course, shown that men are more likely than women to suffer major hair loss. Some kinds of hair loss are temporary (暂时的), an effect of illness. In those cases we can expect the hair to grow back.

It all depends on whether the hair root is alive. If it is not, hair loss is permanent and nothing will help.

Some daily loss of hair is a normal, healthy sign. Most people lose between 40 to 50 scalp hairs each day.

Each of these scalp hairs grows for from two to six years and then rests. About three months later it is pushed out by a new hair growing from the same root.

This is not something that should cause great concern.

Something else we know is that normal hair loss is seasonal, with the most hair loss occurring in the fall. Everyone experiences a normal cycle of loss and growth.

The problem of hair loss results when loss is greater than growth.

The main cause of hair loss in men seems to be accumulation (积累) of a hormone(荷尔蒙) in the body. When that hormone reaches a certain level, the hair growing period is shortened and hair loss is the result. This is no cure for most cases of hair loss. This, however, is not the end of the world.

Sometimes a divorce causes a dispute about who will care for the children. In these cases a judge decides. In an increasing number of disputes. a judge orders that both parents share the children. Usually the children will live with one parent. and both the mother and father will take part in decisions affecting them. In other cases the children will live with the mother part of the time, and with the father part of the time. Frank and his divorced wife, for example, share responsibility for caring for their 6-year old daughter. The little girl lives with Frank for 10 days, then she lives with her mother for 10 days.

In other cases men care for their children alone. Tony, for example, was 18 when his girlfriend had a baby. His girlfriend disappeared and left the baby behind. The group offers advice and skills to help. (31)Tony takes care of his son. Tony believes he can be a good parent. He says women have been doing the job for a long time. Men and women have more choices today. For example, there are choices about marriage. People can decide whether to get married or not. Women who have good jobs need not depend on their husbands, so the traditional idea that marriage is the most important job of a woman's life is changing.

There are more choices about children, too. Many working wives can decide whether and when, if they want, to have children. And they don't want to give up work even if they have a child.

Perhaps the most important difference today is that so many women work even after they get married.Today most women in Britain without a job either have very young children or are very old.Over half of all married women now have a job, and women as a whole make up over one third of the British work force. This has changed marriage; when people get married, the husband and wife have very different role from, say, fifty years ago. If both husband and wife work, the woman will expect to be equal with her husband. For example, many young husbands are now ready to take their share in doing the housework and looking after the children. And the husband no longer expects to make all the important decisions himself. His wife will, for example, share in decision about money. In some cases the husband wants to stay at home and take care of the children, but usually it is because he cannot find a job.In this case, the wife makes the money for the family, and takes on the traditional male role.
