听力原文:W: When you write a novel, do you know where you're going, Dr. James?

M: Yes, you must, really. If you're writing the classical detective story, because it must be so carefully plotted and so carefully clued. I have schemes. I have charts. I have diagrams. It doesn't mean to say I always get it right, but I do plan before I begin writing. But what is so fascinating is how a book changes during the process of writing. It seems to me that creative writing is a process of revelation, really, rather than of creativity in the ordinary sense.

W: When you're planning the basic structure, do you like to go away to be sure that you're by yourself?

M: I need to be by myself certainly, absolutely. I can't even bare anybody else in the house. I don't mind much where I am as long as I' ve got enough space to write, but I need to be completely alone. W: Is that very important to you?

M: Oh, yes. I've never been lonely in all my life.

W: How extraordinary! Never?

M: No, never.

W: You're very lucky. Someone once said that there's a bit of ice at the heart of every writer.

M: Yes. I think this is true. The writer can stand aside from experience and look at it, watch it happening. There is this "detachment" and I realize that there are obviously experiences which would overwhelm everyone. But very often, a writer can appear to stand aside, and this detachment makes people feel there's a bit of ice in the heart.

19. Q: What is the key to write a good classical detective story according to the man?

20. Q:What does the man mainly need when working on a book?.

21. Q:What does the man say about writers?

(24)

A.Unique descriptive skills.

B.Good knowledge of readers' tastes.

C.Colorful world experiences.

D.Careful plotting and clueing.

&8226;If there is an extra word in the line, write the extra word in CAPITAL LETTERS on your Answer Sheet.

TO Logistics is to concerned with the movement of goods from where the goods are stored

42 can optimally perform. all of the functions required for procurement, manufacture,

45 future, their systems must be prepared for to service business customers and

It is through a redesign of the logistics, from supply to manufacturing and beyond, that the linkages between demand chain and supply chain can be integrated to result in an effective supply chain network.

When a customer finds that what she or he bought is faulty or in some other way does not l
ine up to what the producer promises ,the first step is to give the warranty(保单) ,or any other records which might help, to the store where he or she bought the thing. In most eases, this action will produce results. However, if it does not, there are various methods the customer may use to satisfaction.

A simple and common method used by many customers is to complain(投诉) directly to the store manager. In general, the" the higher up" the customer takes his or her complaint, the faster he or she can expect it to do settle d. In such a case, it is usually settled in customer's favor, thinking what he or. she complains is just.

Customers should complain in person whenever possible, but if they cannot get to the store, it is acceptable to phone or write the complaint in a letter.

Complaining is usually most effective when it is done politely but firmly, and especially when the customer can show what is wrong with the thing he or she bought in question. If this cannot be done, the customer will succeed best by giving clear information as to what is wrong, rather than by general statement. For example, "The left speaker does net work at all and the sound coming out of the right one is unclear." is better than" This stereo (立体声音响)does not work."

The store manager may advise the customer to write to the producer, ff so, the customer should de this, expressing the complaint as politely and firmly as possible. If a police complaint does not achieve the desired result, the customer can go a step farther. She or he can threaten to take the seller to court or report the seller to a private or public organization in charge of protecting customers'rights.

When a customer finds that what he or she bought has a fault in it, the first thing he or she should do is to ______.

A.complain personally to the manager

B.threaten to make the mater to court

C.write a firm letter of complaint to the store

D.offer some written proof of what he or she bought to the store

country. I' m quite good at learning them so this isn' t usually too hard for me. China was different, though. I' d learnt some spoken Chinese before I came but I hadn' t tried to learn to write, so I was pretty nervous about a country where I couldn' t read anything. Student: I’m having a hard time keeping all the languages straight. There are so many. Instructor: There are quite a few. Which ones are you having trouble with? Student: All of them. I think it’s confusing to have all these (1). Instructor: I see where you’re coming from. It’s a lot to learn. Student: But why are there so many different languages? Instructor: The first reason is that it makes developing (2) easier. Student: How is that? Instructor: The computer only understands commands in (3) language, or (4) digits. It would take programmers a long time to write programs in binary format. Student: I see. Instructor: Instead, programmers use human readable (5) languages, like Java. That allows us to write programs faster than ever before. Student: I understand that. But why are there so many human-readable programming languages? Instructor: Some human-readable programming languages are more appropriate for certain kinds of software. Does that answer your question? Student: Yes. I guess that makes sense. Thanks.
